Terms of Service

This is an English translation of the Korean terms. If the two differ, the Korean version prevails.

1. The Service

"Prayer Flame" is an app that helps groups keep their prayer time and build a streak together. It is provided free of charge, and features may change after prior notice.

2. Accounts

You sign up with a Kakao, Apple, or Google account. Your account must be used only by you, and you can delete it in the app at any time (Settings → Account → Delete account).

3. Prayer rooms and content

• The person who creates a prayer room is its owner, and any member can invite others.
• You own the rights to the reflections you post. The Service shows them to other members only within the visibility you choose.
• Content that defames or harasses others or violates the law may be removed, and the account may be restricted.

3-1. Objectionable content and abusive users — zero tolerance

• The Service applies zero tolerance to objectionable content (hate or discrimination, obscene or sexual content, harassment or threats, spam or fraud, etc.) and to users who post it or harass other users. You must not post such content or behave this way.
• You can report other users or reflections and block users you don't want to see at any time in the app. When you block someone, their reflections disappear from your screen immediately, and you will no longer see or hear them in prayer room video and audio.
• We review reports within 24 hours. If a violation is confirmed, we remove the content and restrict or terminate the user's account.
• Room owners can hide inappropriate reflections and remove members in their own room.

4. Video and audio calls

Prayer room video and audio are transmitted in real time only and are never recorded. Recording or distributing others during a call without permission is prohibited.

5. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided as is. Network failures or problems with external services (Kakao, Apple, Google, push notifications, the video server) may delay notifications or streak updates, and we are not liable for resulting damages unless caused by our intent or gross negligence.

6. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we will announce it in the app and on this page at least 7 days before they take effect, and ask for your consent again in the app.
